Our Vision and Values
Our theologically rooted Christian vision comes from Paul’s letter to the Romans 12:10. This can be found in the New Testament of the Bible. Paul wrote many letters to the early church to encourage and teach people how to follow Jesus.
In this letter to the Romans, Paul talks about the way in which we are all different with many different gifts to bring. He reminds us that we are all part of one body and each and every one of us has a part to play. He goes on to encourage us to;
‘Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another. Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion’
At Lilliput Infant School we are keen to live out this message in our everyday lives.
Loving one another...
As a Church of England school, love is at the heart of everything we do, from the curriculum we offer to the caring individuals who help to make up our school community.
Respecting one another...
We have respect for ourselves, others and the world around us and understand that every one of us has a vital part to play in making our school community such a success. We respect our similarities and differences and we live out the lessons that Jesus taught us about how we should treat one another.
Serving one another...
We are keen to make a difference in the world by making it a better place and understand the importance of our role in serving others.
