    Ofsted Report and Information

We are delighted to have received "good" in all main areas of our last OFSTED inspection in July 2023.

    SIAMS Inspection

Our most recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection took place on 6 October 2026. We are delighted that the inspection recognised how our Christian vision of Love, Respect and Serve is deeply embedded throughout the life of the school and enables pupils and adults to flourish. The inspection highlighted the strength of our inclusive and nurturing culture, the priority given to wellbeing, the impact of collective worship and the opportunities provided for pupils to serve others and contribute positively to their community.

SIAMS is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. All Church of England and Methodist schools are inspected under this framework. SIAMS focuses on the impact of a school's Christian vision and how effectively it enables pupils and adults to flourish.

The inspection evaluates one overarching question:

How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?

This question is explored through six Inspection Questions:

    • How does the school's Christian vision enable pupils and adults to flourish?
    • How does the curriculum reflect the school's Christian vision?
    • How is collective worship enabling pupils and adults to flourish spiritually?
    • How does the school's vision create a culture in which pupils and adults are treated well?
    • How does the school live out its Christian vision through courageous advocacy and service?
    • How effective is religious education in helping pupils to understand Christianity and a range of worldviews?

SIAMS inspectors do not look for a set model of what a Church school should be. Instead, they evaluate how effectively a school's Christian vision shapes its culture, curriculum, relationships and decision-making within its own unique context.

At Lilliput CE Infant School, our vision is rooted in Romans 12:10-11:

"Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another. Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion."

The 2026 inspection recognised that this vision is intrinsic to school life, creating a warm and inclusive community where everyone is valued and supported to thrive. The report highlighted the positive impact of our vision on wellbeing, belonging, collective worship, pupil leadership and service to others, as well as the strong partnerships that help our school community flourish.
